Dan Chadwick, LPC
About me
Hello! My name is Dan, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. I have spent fours years in the field helping clients from various walks of life overcome their challenges and fine their own serenity. I have worked with teenagers and adults through many issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, anger, addiction, phase of life changes, transitions, grief and much more.
I believe that everyone brings a unique perspective and a unique lived experience that shapes the way that my clients face their challenges. I believe that my clients are the experts in their life and together we will learn, face problems, and overcome the challenges my clients are facing. I consider myself an Integrative therapist, which means that I learn from and use techniques from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and anything else that my clients find that works.
Life challenges us on a daily basis, but every client has the power to navigate their struggles. With some exploration, we can rise up and learn more about ourselves from what we have overcome. Reading this and searching for help are great first steps on the way to finding serenity.
I look forward to working with you!

Dan Chadwick has been an excellent counselor. I observed that Dan approached our talk therapy with compassion and commitment.
Dan has the ability to offer a 'Safe Space' to his clients, as he pinpoints specific areas that are blocking one's ability to move ahead. His insights and commitment to the process is unparcelled. I found that Dan would navigate rough waters which were very painful, with a deft touch, and he always reviewed options that might be available or realistic. During our discussions of 'sensitive' issues, Dan would bring up insightful questions, that allowed me to ponder how I might move forward. I greatly appreciate the therapeutic hard work that was needed as I considered numerous healthy/positive options for the future.

I really enjoyed working with Dan. Some of my best breakthroughs came from our phone call conversations. He listens, asks great questions, and built the relationship by relating to my experience when necessary. He always left me in the driver's seat - as I always had several topics to cover. Letting me choose what we talk about for the day.

Dan has been great. He listens treats me with respect and makes me feel comfortable when going over my relationship and my emotions.
Talking to Dan about my relationship has opened my eyes to certain things that I wasn’t able to see. Mostly good things. I’m happy to be working with Dan
