Daniel Ulberg, LPC
About me
My name is Dan Ulberg, and I'm a licensed therapist in Oklahoma. You can take a look at my profile to learn a little bit more about my background and approach. Please also feel free to ask questions. I am licensed in Oklahoma with 13 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & depression. Online counseling is fairly new, and I've found it to be really effective for many issues.
My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help.
I'm sorry you are having a tough time right now, but I'm really glad you are reaching out. I'd like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings.

He’s awesome he gives great feedback and he isn’t as intense and serious as the other therapists that I have seen in the past, which makes him very easy to talk to and open up with. I’ve had a problem with many previous therapists who’s strategies were mostly listening while writing god knows what on their note pad but only ever occasionally contributing something to my thoughts and feelings. Daniel on the other hand actively contributes in the conversation and sincerely listens to my ruminations. before I would go on a ramble about my week while the therapist maybe says 5 sentences, and then times up. I would leave unsure of what to do with myself… Daniel actually gives me advise and works together with me to construct a plan that I can put in motion to better things, and so far it’s been helping. I believe that the biggest thing that Daniel has offered me in our sessions is insight on how to better and fix my problems, and even if I can’t fix them, how to live with them a little easier.. in summary Daniel is great and I’m glad that he is my therapist.
