After graduating from Boston University School of Medicine, I went on to practice as a clinician in an inner city community health center. My time at the community health center provided me with a diverse range of experience and clients; the therapy techniques I learned there (Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Art Therapy) continue to play a large role in how I treat my clients today. I employ self-care strategies for all of my clients as the base for improved well-being and reducing stress, managing healthy sleep and eating, daily exercise, pleasurable activities and the use of mindfulness, all of which help us to cope with life transition more effectively. My practice works with children, adolescents, teens and adults using a variety of therapy techniques tailored to your needs. I've thrown a lot at Danielle and she handles my concerns professionally and appropriately. I appreciate how open and honest she is with me, while also being sensitive and empathetic. My experience with Dr. Ciraulo has been extremely beneficial so far. She is quite gifted at listening, getting to the deeper point of what I'm feeling, saying, etc., and recommending further contemplation and action. Danielle has been a life saver. I came to her after a traumatic event. That event was the precipice for a major shift in my family dynamics. She has been supportive in all ways. Offering advice and help, but I've never ever felt she was lecturing or talking down to me. She has truly made a huge impact in my life. My ability to look at a situation more broadly and calmly has been one of the biggest successes. Drawing/creating boundaries where I was not able to before. I really enjoy seeing and speaking with Danielle each week. Even though this therapy is through an app I feel like I’m sitting office talking to her.
