Hello everyone! I have worked in some aspect of healthcare since 1994. I started off as a Medical Assistant in the state of Maryland, then I moved here to GA; where I have been for the last 20 years. As a healthcare professional, I have worked in many specialties; adult, child, family, ob/gyn, neurology, urgent care, emergent care, dermatology, med/surgery and mother and baby. I have taught medical assisting as well as placed Medical Assistant students on their externship. I have worked for large hospitals such as Johns Hopkins University and Dekalb Medical Center. I have also taught in secondary education in career colleges and business schools.
I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Georgia State University (2010) and a master's degree in Community Counseling (2013) from Argosy University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of GA. I have worked with veterans for several years as a crisis counselor. I started my career working with children/teens as a community counselor. I have a passion for helping one operate in their highest capacity in order to master the basic areas of life; work, family, social lives and purpose. I practice solution focused therapy on a regular basis. This means I am direct and "to the point" as it relates to identifying and working toward solving a situation. However, I will try other modalities if the situation requires another focus. I love helping people and believe help starts with getting one's mental state healthy 1st and that will trickle over to being healthy in all areas of life.
I have the unique experience of not only being a teen parent; I had my 1st child at 15 and my 2nd child at 19; therefore, even though I am licensed; I have experienced hardships and life challenges at a very early age! Therefore, I can relate and identify to most people, regardless of their background or trials and tribulations. I am here to help you maximize life fulfillment by overcoming real and self imposed obstacles.

I love Danielle. She is straightforward, and is still genuine and empathetic when listening to you. It feels like I’m talking to a girlfriend when I have sessions with her. She has become my “inner voice” since working with her. She’s given me confidence to be me, in my life and relationships, and I appreciate her so much for that.

Danielle has helped me so much more in the last year than any therapist I had. We had honest conversation about things that truly opened my eyes. I am forever grateful for my time with her and would highly recommend working with her to anyone!

Danielle is probably the best therapist I've ever had - she waits for your answer if you're struggling to find the words, she has a laugh with you, and she is very perceptive and encouraging.

I have been getting therapy from Danielle for the past three months. Danielle has been one of the best therapists I have ever had. She listens to me and conducts each session without judgment. She is extremely patient and gives outstanding advice. She gives me weekly tasks to improve the areas in which I’m struggling. The therapy I’ve received over these past few months is unmatched. I’m truly grateful.

Danielle has been such a life line during a tough transitional period in my life. The advice she gave has been practical and effective - I cannot recommend her enough. I always felt uplifted and hopeful after a session with her.

Danielle is the therapist I hoped for! She is down to earth, and doesn’t wield her college degree and experience at you by use of a bunch of technical terms. She doesn’t make you feel like she is talking to you while doodling in a notepad like we see on TV. She is engaging, real, gives her insight but also gauges really well when sometimes you need a session where she listens more than speaks. I highly recommend her and am glad she grabbed me up instead of a male therapist I thought I wanted!

Danielle has been completely invaluable to me for the last few months. She always knows when I want to vent or when I want practical advice and does so in a kind but to the point way. I've really appreciated her frankness with me and her insights have made a world of difference.

Danielle is an AMAZING councillor. Her ability to empathise, her humour and compassion are just some of the reasons I stay on this app but rest known ALL reasons lead back to her. I feel grounded after our sessions. I'm so happy I found her, she has truly helped me navigate some tough paths and I'm forever grateful

Danielle is great. Empathetic and friendly while avoiding the dangers of being insincerely positive. She is communicative and professional. I’m no expert, but she seems highly qualified.
