About me
Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. First of all, congratulations on making the first step in looking for support and "what is out there", it is no easy task, but for that, you deserve a pat on the back.
I am a therapist with a colourful background, having managed a variety of services relating to the following difficulties and client groups such as drug and alcohol addiction, sex and porn addiction, domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, abusive behaviour, sexual offending, homelessness, bereavement, palliative care and the dying. Having worked in a variety of fields whilst managing a team, I have also worked within a series of environments, such as hospitals, supported accommodation, family hubs and more clinical settings.
My approach to therapy is by working with you to provide the best support possible, I am trained in providing person-centred counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as being solution focused and able to use motivational interviewing where appropriate. Whatever your need, we can work together to tailor therapy to your needs, as you are the expert of you!
I am happy to provide therapy in whatever way works best for you, I believe for therapy to be effective you need to be comfortable, so whether it is meeting on a regular or as and when basis, via text, phone, video, or a mixture of all the above, that is absolutely fine.

Danny is a great guy, who genuinely cares about the issues of the people he’s talking with. He offers solutions and strategies to those suffering, and I can’t recommend him enough. Genuinely feels like he’s going above and beyond of what he’s required to do, and I look forward to our weekly chats.

Danny is an excellent therapist. He makes me feel really comfortable which in turn allows me to be honest and express my feelings deeper. He has managed to obtain a structure of things to work on and focus direction on the future. He is a great listener and always offers insight to the things I’m expressing.
