About me
Hello there! My name is Dan Porter. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based out of Minnesota with over 20 years of experience working in the Mental Health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting problems, ADHD, relationship issues and adoption. Primarily, I have been working with individuals and parents/couples and youth of all ages including GLBTQ+ community.
I am a person-centered therapist with a warm and compassionate style. I believe in treating others with respect and dignity no matter their background, condition, ethnicity, cultural, or religious beliefs. I will meet you where you are and move along at your pace. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels, and my approach is hands-on and interactive. I am happy to support you either via text, voice, or video chat.
