I ensure the highest quality care is provided through an integrative, client-centered approach. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include cognitive-behavioral, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, mindfulness, and solution-focused. I promote personal growth by providing an atmosphere that is safe, accepting, and direct. I will hear you, validate your experience, and strive for your personal empowerment. Dr. Groomes is patient and understanding yet she is straight forward which I really appreciate. She helps you come to a decision on your own terms. She guides you with the knowledge that she has and it feels very casual talking to her as I have a hard time opening up to people. I’m very thankful that I was matched with her and I strongly recommend her as a therapist.

Dr. Groomes is easily the best therapist I've ever worked with. She is personable so that sessions do not feel clinical, and incredibly intelligent and experienced to provide thoughtful guidance, coaching, and support alongside it. It's a very relaxed approach and she's a great and kind human. She's super responsive on the few times I've reached out outside of session. I always look forward to our time where we can catch up on life and stay caught up on goals and progress.
