About me

PLEASE NOTE: Currently only available on Sundays, late mornings! PLEASE NOTE.

Now, about my approach:

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! These words inspire us to look forward to a bright future, something we can count on as we move through life. But what happens when the life we hoped for slips out of our grasp? When our careers stall, or when our relationships go sour, or when we can’t shake off the effects of painful experiences?

Since earning my MS in Clinical Counseling from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, I have learned that each of us is full of talent and potential. We all have something important to contribute to the world. All we need is a way to discover the unique qualities, drives and passions that make us who we are.

My approach to treatment is based on Solution Focused Brief Counseling. My goal is to help people find the strong, hopeful and capable parts of their personality and strengthen them in every day life. We do this first by exploring your key relationships and how they have impacted your life over time. Once we uncover your (not so hidden) strengths, we work together to improve your well being.

My experience includes working with singles and couples, as well as men seeking career transition counseling. I have worked with people from all faiths, gender identity and sexual orientation.

How I can be of service: If you looking for help: (1) building a better future, particularly in your career (2) overcoming relationship challenges, or (3) coming to terms with painful memories so you can move on, I look forward to working with you to help you meet those goals.

Written on May 18, 2023 after therapy with David for 3 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, self esteem, and compassion fatigue

I started with David to get a better grasp on how poorly I deal with my emotions and let certain ones take over. After talking and digging deep on my childhood and past traumas, he really helped me navigate them and find out why I have such a difficult time with my emotions. It’s been a journey, but thanks to David it made this travel so much more doable.

David has been a wonderful guide And helper in life. Whether it’s just listening to how my week has been or tackling big issues he has always given me sound advice and let me find my own path to growth.
The books we have gone over so far have changed my views and life with my spouse. We are both communicating so clearly our needs and wants and thriving because of it.
