I received my Master’s degree from Stetson University in Deland, FL in Mental Health with dual certificate program for Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed internships at the House Next Door in Deland, FL, and on the Crisis unit at Aspire Health Partners in Sanford (formerly Seminole Behavioral Healthcare). I currently work as the State Hospital Liaison for Seminole County and have served in this role for both civilian and forensic populations. I wasn’t really sure what I needed, but I knew I needed something. David has helped me make huge improvements to my mental health. He provides the most relaxed environment with his personable attitude. David constantly offers insight and new research for the topics we are discussing and always makes me feel safe saying whatever I want. No matter how silly I feel, he always has a great reaction, making it easier and easier to discuss even the hardest of topics.

After only 2 visits with David Spellman, I am already impressed. He asks such thought provoking questions. He is helping me look at situations differently.
