Dawn Pringle, LPC
About me
I have been practicing counseling for several years. I graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2005. I have worked with a wide variety of individuals dealing with issues including, but not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, Self-Harm, and others. I use the Cognitive Behavioral approach initially but am flexible in using other approaches as not every individual is receptive to just one. I find great pleasure in helping others learn to use meditation and relaxation as forms of coping.
Everyone has a story to tell, and I eagerly await to hear yours as I help you learn how to move forward from where you may feel stuck at this time. I believe compassion and empathy go a long way in helping others feel heard and respected. It is my goal to help you learn how to deal with the problems you have courageously sought help with. Counseling is not always easy. It can sometimes be difficult, but it is in that difficulty where I will encourage you to continue to work and grow to be where you want to be emotionally.
I look forward to working with you.

Talking to Dawn is like talking to a very good friend. She listens and can hear between the words. I feel better after our talks.
She chooses challenging worksheets that require processing and thoughts.

Dawn is absolutely amazing. She is extremely respectful of your needs and emotions and she listens to understand you not just to hear what you're saying. I greatly appreciate Dawn and would recommend her to anyone looking to receive wisdom or guidance during troubling times!
