I am a compassionate and culturally competent mental health provider who understands the importance of creating a safe, affirming space where individuals can feel supported, seen, and heard. As a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I bring a unique perspective and sensitivity to my work, fostering connection and understanding for clients from diverse backgrounds. I am committed to meeting each person where they are, offering warmth and non-judgmental care.
With over 10 years of experience in residential programs, community-based treatment, and outpatient settings, I have worked with individuals and families from a wide range of populations. My expertise includes helping clients navigate challenges such as self-esteem issues, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, workplace concerns, identity exploration, adjustment difficulties, depression, and addiction management.
My eclectic therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered practices, and trauma-informed care, all tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I value the collaborative process of therapy, empowering clients to explore their strengths, address challenges, and work toward meaningful growth and healing.
As a neurodivergent person, I draw on my lived experience to offer a deeper sense of empathy and validation. I understand the nuances of navigating mental health, identity, and the many intersections of life, which allows me to provide truly inclusive and individualized support.

Since I’ve started therapy, my therapist really has been the person that I can talk to. Glad I have a therapist like Deidra to help me understand what’s causing my issues and what causes my frustrations.
