About me
I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling with licensure as a professional counselor and have been certified as a National Board-Certified Counselor (NBCC) and Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider(BC-TMH) . I have over thirty years experience working in the Child Welfare Profession as a Social Worker in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Georgia where I worked extensively with children and their families before changing my career path in 2014 to become an LPC. I am licensed in Georgia with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, and motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my consumers to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I strive to assist my consumers in empowering themselves and enhancing their emotional wellbeing.
