About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have 32 years of professional work experience in Behavioral Health and Recovery Services treating adults and families with a variety of presenting issues, including stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, career challenges and depression.

My experience is varied and across settings as I have provided individual therapy in a community health center, substance use treatment centers, employee assistance program and mental health services in a hospital setting.

My therapy style is warm, interactive, and solution focused. I approach the therapeutic relationship with sensitivity, compassion and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors. My therapy approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family systems, Mindfulness, Addiction Recovery and Psycho-education.

I will meet you where you are in your counseling journey and we will work collaboratively on your treatment goals. Whether you are working for symptom relief, enlightenment and/or improved function, my hope is to work together to achieve your therapy goals. I believe you are the the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
