Devon Quackenbush, LMHC
About me
I emphasize counseling that is collaborative with the client. We work as a team to identify strengths, areas needing improvement, goals, and treatment. Sessions are conducted with compassion and aspirations to understand you and your experiences. I specialize in individuals' struggles within personal relationships and family-of-origin concerns; as well as trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety. I am here to assist you in learning new ways of thinking and behaving that will elevate your contentment with your quality of life. Life doesn't have to be so hard. Let me assist you in shining some light on a healthier future.
I live by the motto, "Therapy should help to alleviate stress and anxiety, not add to it". I welcome questions/concerns and offer flexibility in scheduling (to the best of my abilities) without judgment. We are all human, things happen that we cannot predict, and this is a key element in my collaboration with clients.
I am licensed in New York with 7 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
