ABOUT ME

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! I am excited to meet you.

My name is Diana and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have been working in the field of mental health for years helping to improve the quality of life for my clients. I work extensively with individuals and families who have PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addiction of all modalities. I specialize in working with trauma, more specifically, victims of emotional, physical, and / or sexual abuse. I work with adults presenting with a wide range of symptoms and various behaviors resulting from low self-esteem and worth. I strongly believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is an essential part of the counseling experience. I follow a client centered approach that is outcomes driven while creating an environment of trust and comfort. The pace of work is defined by the reductions of distressful symptoms and attainment of agreed upon treatment goals.

I have worked with Diana off and on over the last 5 years and she has helped me reframe the way I think and respond to triggering beliefs and events in much healthier and calmer ways. She is so kind and compassionate and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

So far I am quite pleased with the insight, expertise, and comfortable way of Diana. I would definately recommend her as an active listener with very good suggestions. It is early yet, so I’m conservative with praise, but I’m glad I have Diana as my Therapist

Diana is amazing! She's so thoughtful in her communications and she has helped me quite a lot over the last few months. We've been talking since June (it's November) and I feel that she has really made a difference in my life and the way that I handle and react to what's going on inside and around me. I've grown as a person, and I wouldn't be so balanced and boundaried as I am now without her support.

At this point, I have met with Diana 2x. I respect her, she is kind, intuitive, sensitive and a great listener. She makes me feel important and worth her efforts.

Diana is the most skilled therapist I have ever worked with. And I have worked with many. She has helped me grow in ways I didn’t think possible. My healing is infinite with her as my guide.
