About me
I am Diana Norton, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked with individuals, couples, and families seeking counseling for over 30 years, both online and in private practice. You can read ore about my background, education, experience, and counseling approach by clicking on your name above our messages. I generally check messages here a few times per day Mon-Fri and respond as quickly a s I can. I do appreciate your patience when it takes a bit longer at time, as I may be tending to other clients or professional/personal responsibilities
I would like to welcome you to your online counseling room, which will be our private and secure place to communicate. You can enter this rom from any internet-connected device where ever you are.
To help us get started can you please tell me what brings you here? Just write a few short sentences about the challenges you're experiencing or what you would like to talk about and we will go from there.
My goal and hope in working together is two-fold. On the short term, I would like to help you get some relief with your feeling so you can live a more fulfilling life. On the longer term, I hope that we can get to the bottom of the feelings, concerns and dilemmas.
You have done the first (and most important) step of reaching out for help. Together we will keep taking one step at a time, at a pace that you feel comfortable with.
If you could schedule a phone call to discuss the issues that you would like to address in therapy and get started working toward reaching your therapeutic goals that would be great.

I have loved working with Diana over the past couple of years. She helped me through the most difficult time in my life, always listening and providing very thoughtful advice. I feel that I'm in a much better place today, and it is largely thanks to Diana's help.

Diana made talking easy even from our very first meeting. I felt she really understood the nuances of my issues right from the start allowing me to start working through my problems right away. I am in a far better place now after just a few months and now feel confident pausing my sessions at this time because I have the tools I need to confront whatever life may throw at me.

It's been such a blessing to have Diana as my therapist. She really helped me clear the thoughts in my head. I've been dealing with so much anxiety, depression, and just a lost sense of purpose. Great listener, delightful and nice. We picked up where we left off each time we talk and she's able to give feedback with action plans to help me get over the problems in my head and heart. I feel much better and at peace and most importantly be happy with myself and live with purpose.
Thank you so much Diana, you been so wonderful!

My therapist, Diana Norton, is among the best therapists I have seen. She listens with empathy and offers suggestions when appropriate. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to work on relationship issues.
