Doreen was my therapist for a little under a year and throughout that time she never failed to validate, support, and guide me through very difficult times. She helped me to realize I was struggling with OCD and Bipolar Depression. Finding those things out and beginning medication can be devastating and confusing, but Doreen was patient at all times, and honest when she needed to be. I would and have recommended her to many friends and family. Thank you Doreen for helping me this past year!

Doreen is extremely insightful. I can tell she’s very present in our conversation. I know she is coming from a place of understanding. She then offers new perspectives and questions that help me understand my own behaviors and my past. I’m already learning a lot about myself, learning how to tell myself what I need, and learning how to stay patient in different moments of the day.

Doreen Cook is a gift to the counseling world. She cares about her clients. She is not putting on an act of caring. She really does care about every client. She knows that I am having troubles right now so she goes out of her way to say positive things to me.

She is so kind but she is very straight forward and I love and appreciate it so much. I needed a counselor that would be firm with me about my options and ways to help myself on this journey. Very happy with her as my counselor and I think she is a perfect fit for what I need.

Doreen has been my guidance ina very turbulent phase of my life. She has confirmed my notions and given me a sense of direction in a very difficult situation that I am passing through. She also checks on me from time to time to see how i am doing even if I dont message him and she is very prepared about the variations that my situation can end into. I would highly recommend her !!

This is my first time ever talking to a counselor and I’m so happy Doreen was the first. She made me feel comfortable immediately, I never feel judged, and she really listens to me. I was so scared to talk to somebody, and Doreen has made me glad I chose to finally do it. She’s very helpful and genuine. I know that she can help me work through anything, and it’s very important to feel like your counselor is truly a part of your support network. Doreen is great!!
