Dvorah Palmer, LMHC
About me
My name is Dvorah Palmer, and I’m here to support you in your journey toward a more fulfilling and happier life. Taking that first step can be challenging, but it's a sign of strength and courage—and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
As a licensed mental health therapist in Florida with over 12 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages—adults, teens, and children alike. I specialize in helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ matters, ADHD, self-esteem struggles, career transitions, family conflicts, and parenting concerns. My practice is inclusive, and I’m committed to creating a space where people from all backgrounds and cultures feel welcomed and understood.
Additionally, I’m a Level 1 Gottman-trained therapist, and I work with couples to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and deepen their emotional connection.
In our sessions, I strive to cultivate a warm, safe, and trusting environment where you feel truly heard. Using a blend of evidence-based approaches—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method—I tailor my work to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals. And yes, I believe therapy can be engaging and even fun!
I look forward to getting to know you and being a part of your path toward positive change.

It's been a blessing to work with someone as kind, supportive and thoughtful as Dvorah. She has helped me so much in a relatively short time, and that's because of her wealth of experience and gentle manner. I feel heard, understood and respected, and I always enjoy our sessions. Dvorah also keeps in touch outside of therapy sessions, and her weekly 'newsletter' messages are the cherry on top!

Dvorah is truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She consistently helps me think outside the box and asks thought-provoking questions that challenge me to grow. Dvorah is an incredibly attentive listener, always creating a safe space where I feel understood and valued. Apart from that, she is also a super sweet and caring person, making every session feel like a conversation with a trusted friend. I leave each session feeling supported and motivated. I'm forever grateful for Dvorah's guidance.
