About me

I am licensed in New Jersey with 18 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, lgbt-related issues, trauma and abuse, & depression. I provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in working with members of the Deaf community and the LGBTQ+ community, with an emphasis on intersectionality and cross-cultural issues. My theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Child-Centered Play therapy.
I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and in Mandarin Chinese. As a first-generation Asian-American born to immigrant parents, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and an advocate for the Deaf community, I believe that an individual’s cultures and communities are key factors in their self-actualization.

Better Help is a great service if you are struggling to find a therapist on your own. It took my information and I was matched with a therapist that I really like. It has been a success for me so far.

Eileen provided great feedback and resources to help me with my stress and anxiety. Our conversations are pleasant and I personally like how she reassures me that what I'm going through is normal and that my feelings are valid because it makes me feel like I'm not alone.

Eileen was an excellent therapist in my experiences with her. A great listener and would give me small tasks each week that help me out a lot personally. I appreciate all the help she has provided for me in a short time.
