About me
I have over 30 years combined clinical, military, political and teaching experience. I've worked in private practice, colleges, community agencies, hospitals, and combat zones. I've served on several advisory boards, taught psychology at the college level, and held multiple legislative positions in Washington, DC. I'm licensed in Maryland and Virginia to provide Psychotherapy for women, men, and teens. As a former Army Social Work Officer, I am uniquely qualified to help Servicemembers, Veterans, and their families. I also work with teens cope with academic challenges, bullying, divorce, peer pressure and low self-esteem. I've honed an eclectic approach to therapy, combining insight, problem-solving, and coping skills to provide the highest standard of services. My extensive knowledge, coupled with a deep understanding of clients' needs, allows me to deliver highly personalized and effective treatment. I have a proven record of helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting change.
