About me

I am a licensed LPC in Texas with 24 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, lgbtq+ related issues, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, depression and PTSD .
I adhere to a family systems approach and incorporate CBT and DBT with an emphasis on Mindfulness techniques. In my experience it’s not dissecting the client's issues that lead to healing it’s asking what happened to you or what got you here? I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
In addition, I have worked with teens and young adults for the past 24 years. I worked with teens in the school setting that were experiencing the following issues: academic, family dysfunction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse, gender identity conflicts, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia and on a more positive note college and career readiness. I retired from Education last year.
Let’s begin this journey together!
