Elizabeth Holt, LMFT
About me
Thank you for visiting my page. Life can be challenging. Whatever you are struggling with you do not have to go through it alone. I think you are very strong and brave for taking this step towards getting help and support.
I am a licensed Therapist in Florida with over 8 years of professional experience. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, family conflicts, life transitions, depression, and trauma. My approach is cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe that a therapeutic relationship is grounded in the framework of the relationship between the therapist and the client. I follow the needs of my clients. I worked for many years with children and families in the foster care system before going into private practice. In terms of my personality, I have been described as grounded, empathetic, and real, with a strong sense of humor. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Therapy is a process of understanding ourselves and others to make positive changes. In all of our lives, we face different paths and challenges. You can get the right tools and a helping hand to go through life grounded and supported. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
