Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Elizabeth "Liz" McDowell. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I was nervous and extremely hesitant to start therapy as I felt like the person that I spoke to would dismiss my concerns and needs. Liz is like that supportive friend that listens, remembers, asks and suggests more than one way of tackling a situation. In addition, Liz shares stories in her life that parallel mine so that I may understand that she knows how I feel and brings us closer together. She has wisdom and knowledge, caring and compassion. When I start getting into my old patterns, I truly can remember the conversation that Liz and I had about what to do if …situation came up and I can change my course of action and make a wiser and healthier choice for me. She is a blessing in my life.

I’ve been working with Liz for a few months now and she’s amazing. I’ve done therapy previously and never continued after a few sessions because I felt like I could never find a therapist I connected with. Liz truly makes me feel heard and understood. It’s really nice to have someone who listens and validates my feelings. I look forward to our sessions every week!
