Ellie Pulley, NCPS
About me
Hello, and welcome to my profile.
I'm Ellie, and for the past 10 years I have been supporting my clients with the struggles they might be facing.
Sometimes in life we are able to identify that seeking support might help us with our situation, but we might have fear or anxiety about 'opening up' to someone and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable.
Seeking support can be scary, I know this because I have been there myself.
So first of all, congratulations on making this first step. I know how difficult this can be!
What type of counselling do I provide?
The counselling I provide is warm, non judgemental, informal and interactive. My approach combines CBT and Person Centred Therapy. I will tailor our sessions, and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I will be with you through each step of your journey to offer my support and expertise to get you to the outcome you desire.
I specialise in supporting clients with a wide range of issues including:
Addictions, Abandonment Issues, Anxiety, Low Confidence / Self Esteem, Relationship Difficulties, Domestic Abuse, Childhood Trauma, Adult Trauma, Jealousy / Paranoia, Self Harm.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

I've loved working with Ellie so far, she has really listed to everything I've said and suggested things to work on each week so we can monitor my progress!

Ellie has been wonderful in helping me with the challenges in my life that have held me back for years, and always very quick to respond if I message her. She is a fantastic therapist and always supportive. I am so appreciative of her help.

I didn't think I can be so excited for therapy, but with Ellie there is so much juice in every session, it leaves me buzzing, full with clarity and desire to keep discovering more. Ellie is really cool - I like her informal approach bcs it feels more leveled instead of hierarchical (hierarchical = she's the expert looking down on poor me). I talk a lot, and the little she has the chance to say, oh, it gives me food for thought. I wish I had more time with Ellie but she is so present between sessions and always reads all my homework and messages that it feels "compensated". I send her an update of life and she has read it and we are already digging into it in the talk instead of me going over it again. Overall, very empowering experience. Thanks, Ellie.

Ellie Pulley has a plethora of experience and it shows. She is really helping me move forward and tackling my problems in a step-based and methodical manner. She responds to my messages promptly, and we are moving through my therapy process at a good (pretty fast) pace, which is awesome. I can only recommend Ellie. She is a real pro.
