Emilie has been wonderful. I cannot imagine being connected with a therapist who better connects with me, understands my gamer and pop-culture terms, and can keep up when I go from quoting Shakespeare to Klingon in the space of 2 sentences. She has amazing insight and can get to the source of my issues even when I don't want to acknowledge them or cannot see the way things connect. I am truly grateful to have her.

Emilie is a wonderful therapist. She is kind, validating, supportive, and attentive. As a queer individual, Emilie has held space for me to talk about my relationships within my community, which has not always been my experience when it comes to therapy/counseling. Emilie also challenges me to look at my situations in new ways. She can tell when a certain explanation or exercise resonates with me, and when it doesn't, and she has been great about adjusting accordingly. Highly recommend.

Emilie is amazing! I love that she truly listens to me. If I have trouble opening up, she’s found ways to work around that. An example of this was when she had me bring her songs that I connected to & she had me explain to her what lyrics struck a cord within me and why. She has a positive but calming energy, which makes it easy to open up once you allow yourself! I’d recommend Emilie as a therapist to anyone! You’d be lucky to work with her!

Emilie is a beautiful soul. She's very empathetic and is very good at remembering details during your sessions that she uses in future sessions. There's many times that she recalls things that take me aback because I realize that she is really listening to me and cares. She's been helping me deal with trauma bonds, narcissistic family members and exs, and my new journey into the lgbtq community. I can't thank her enough for making me feel like I am not a basketcase and my emotions and feelings are valid.

Emilie has been very good at remaining present and focused on my issues. She is empathetic in a professional manner, and knows when to offer a pause if where we are is too painful. Then she retains everything for when I am ready again. She finds options when appropriate, you know not all the time, if there is something that will help. I trust her completely now.
