About me

I am licensed in Pennsylvania with 8 years of professional work experience ranging from inpatient hospitalization to private practice. I specialize in working with trauma, disordered eating, lgbtqia+ related issues, & family of origin conflicts. I believe in creating a warm, person-centered environment in which trust is at the center.

I enjoy talking to folks about what is going on in their present life first, then after trust is established going more into family of origin and childhood. In my experience, the patterns that were developed in our childhoods have a way of showing up in the present day. It is talking through present/past that helps us heal from it.

In my personal life, I love being creative (fiber arts, painting) and being outside (hiking, gardening). My fur babies also keep me busy!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Emily! She has helped me tremendously over the past almost year I have been seeing her! I honestly don't know where I would be today without her!
