Emily Ezell, LCSW
About me
I am passionate about providing a safe and welcoming space for people to receive support and heal. I care deeply about meeting clients where they are and tailoring sessions to their specific needs. In my work with clients, I strive to create a space in which we can become curious about patterns that are no longer working, and how they might have developed in the first place. I help people develop more effective ways of coping, and I support them in changing the ways they relate to themselves and others.
I believe that clients are the experts on themselves and their experiences, and I collaborate with them to use my skills and expertise to provide relief. I work with teens and adults, and my specialties include trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I utilize a variety of approaches, depending on what is needed, but I most often use EMDR and DBT skills, and draw from Polyvagal and Attachment theories. All of these approaches help me support clients in healing from trauma, learning to regulate emotions, and improving relationships. I look forward to talking with you to decide if I am a good fit!
