About me
Hi There!
My name is Emily and I am excited that you are seeking services. I specialize in supporting folks in processing trauma using EMDR and other methods. I am specifically trained on complex EMDR, and using poetry, art, colors, and sand tray to meet trauma needs that often get missed in other techniques.
EMDR is a specific type of therapy that uses bilateral stimulation (like eye movements, tapping, or sounds) to help the brain process and integrate traumatic memories. What I mean is we will work together to show your body the scary things in the past are in the past. (If the trauma is on going we can work together on that too with accommodations).
The trauma therapy I use is brain based and somatic. I get to follow your brain, your beliefs and your needs.
Thanks again for reading through this. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
If you think we could be a good fit I would love to talk with you.
Kindly,
Emily
