About me
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like the world is too much? As someone with lived experience of ADHD, dyspraxia, and depression, I understand the challenges of being a dreamer in a complex world. With four years of experience as a therapist and prior experience as a case manager and social caseworker in the mental health and developmental fields, I bring a deep understanding of neurodivergence and the obstacles individuals face.
I offer an integrative, person-centered, and strengths-based approach, typically combining evidence-based practices with elements of art and philosophy because I believe therapy is a science, an art, and a philosophy. My approach is adaptable to each individual’s needs. In working with children, I incorporate play in therapy to support emotional expression and self-regulation. With young people (teens and young adults), I integrate the Transition to Independence Model (TIP) to build executive functioning skills, self-determination, and confidence in navigating life transitions.
My Approach Includes (among others):
DBT and mindfulness for emotional regulation
Expressive Arts Therapy and play therapy for creative healing
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for practical, goal-oriented progress
Motivational Interviewing (MI) to explore motivation and readiness for change
Transition to Independence Model (TIP) for supporting teens and young adults
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage, and I am proud of you for getting started. Whether you are navigating burnout, trauma, or the feeling of being “too much and not enough” at the same time, we will build skills together to explore your story, embrace your strengths, and move forward with clarity.
