About me
Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to read my page, and thank you for your courage in considering engaging in the beginning of your therapeutic journey. I believe that with time, patience, dedication and a strong therapeutic alliance, the healing benefits of therapy can provide relief and a deeper understand of one's self to anyone and everyone willing to take the leap into counseling.
I have over 9 years of experience working in various mental health settings directly providing support to individuals across all ages and a vast variety of personal goals, strengths, and obstacles to overcome. I earned my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Salem State University in Massachusetts in 2017, and received my LMHC licensure in May, 2020. I have extensive experience and training in working with teenagers and adults facing challenges related to addiction, anxiety, and depression.
My clinical approach draws from many different disciplines, including Person-Centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. I work from the perspective that your pain means something, and it is my job to to help us learn to listen to what it is trying to communicate in order to understand it and find ways to resolve the underlying sources of it. Regardless of the approach, I believe your goals to be of highest importance; this is your space to explore yourself and your ambitions in whatever ways and whatever pace you feel best serves you.
Thank you again for considering embarking on this adventure, and for the compassion you are showing yourself by doing so! Please do not hesitate to reach out, and I look forward to working together.
Thank you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Eric Liberti. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I've been working with Eric Liberti on BetterHelp for 8 months at the time of writing this review. We only interact via text and that works great for my schedule. He's usually very prompt to reply and sometimes will give me two very detailed responses per week.
Usually our format includes responding to questions he may prompt me with in his last response, and then mentioning anything new that may have popped up since Eric's last response. Eric carefully reads through my sometimes jumbled message and structures a very detailed response offering tidbits of wisdom about how to navigate the many different things that are adding stress or anxiety to my life.
Eric also has provided me with some very useful step-by-step methods for trying to dive deeper into some of the topics we discuss. This makes things easy to remember and more likely for me to actually use these exercises in the future.
I'd highly recommend working with Eric Liberti on BetterHelp!
