Erica Smith Jimenez, LMFT
About me
About
Hi! My name is Erica Smith Jimenez and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families specializing in support for teens and parents.
I enjoy working with clients with a focus on assisting them in managing emotions, developing positive coping strategies, deepening relationships with others and navigating conflicts in their lives while fostering improved self-esteem.
I offer a safe space to dig into issues that are causing stagnation, sadness, frustration, pain, loneliness, and/or fear and focus on helping to foster more positive emotions with a non-judgmental and strength-based perspective. My style is direct, nurturing and down to earth. I bring an engaged and authentic presence to each session. I have seen, throughout my experience, how much positive change can occur when the optimal support is available, and I will routinely offer that to all my clients. It is with empathy, compassion, humility, experience, training and skill that I offer my clients a therapeutic relationship and tools for working through their struggles. Each person is unique with their own specific needs and I tailor my approach dependent upon those needs.
My goal is to provide my clients with tools needed so they can live a happier and healthier life!

Since working with Erica I have developed healthy boundaries and coping skills for dealing with familial and romantic relationships alike. I've grown to learn the things in want in a relationship and how to hold my boundaries on topics I don't agree with. Working with Erica has greatly improved my self image and elf esteem!

I think Erica is very understanding. She allows you to express yourself but keeps your train on the track. I appreciate that at the end of each session, she lets me know what we are going to work on next session yet if there is something important that comes up, she encourages you to talk about whatever you need to. Really like her, good therapist for sure!
