About me

I am a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), licensed in the state of Georgia, with 20 years of experience. My work has been primarily with individuals and families in outpatient settings as well as in-home therapy. As a result, a large amount of my experience has been to address interpersonal and relationship issues, conflict resolution, parenting issues, substance abuse, and trauma. I have also worked to address various mental health diagnoses to include: depression, anxiety, and various learning disorders.

I do not ascribe to the idea that there is a "one size fits all" approach to anything. We are all uniquely our own, with our own experiences, and our own set of strengths. I feel it is my job to walk beside you to build on the strengths you currently have to develop tools you need to address your area of concern. I pull a great deal from the ecological perspective, and use cognitive behavioral and rational-emotive counseling approaches. However, I will pull from a variety of treatment modalities depending on what will work best for your identified areas of focus. I am encouraging and warm and very honest in my approach.

Tackling areas of your life where you would like to make changes can seem daunting at times, but I am confident that together we can bring about positive change and teach you the skills to propel you forward in your journey in a positive way!

Erin made me feel safe, she made me feel calm, and at times where I'm at my worst she is the first person I turn to.
Thanks to the journey we've taken and Erin's guidance I finally have something I actually like doing!
And after years of feeling lost, I finally feel like I'm on the right track!
I honestly can't thank her enough.

I don’t think I would be hanging in here without Erin.

Erin has been such a beautiful light to help me through the darkness. I appreciate her and how we work through my struggles together. Sessions with her feel more like talking to a friend and the intersections are genuine. I’m grateful to have been linked with her! ❤️

As a person completely reluctant to go back to therapy and with so much baggage that I did not know where to start combined with constant fear of talking or sharing any thoughts Erin is the best thing that happened to me in a long time. I no longer feel alone or unsupported. She takes off so much weight from my soul and body and constantly shows me that I am really being supported. I can see and feel her will to help me. It is a miracle to me to have found her.
