About me
Hi, and welcome to my profile. I’m here for you. As a counsellor, but classified as a psychotherapist due to my specialised expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), I offer a compassionate and professional approach to support your journey towards healing and growth.
With over 10 years of experience, including work in NHS GP practices and mental health hospitals, I understand the unique challenges individuals face. My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.
Whether you’re seeking help with anxiety, trauma, or simply looking to build resilience, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s work together to take the first step towards a brighter and more fulfilling future.
First session:
In our first session, we’ll discuss confidentiality, your reasons for seeking therapy, assesment, background history and review how we can work together. It’s a chance to build safe, trustable environment for you and establish a clear plan moving forward.
Number of Sessions:
The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy, lasting around 6-12 sessions, while others may choose longer-term therapy for ongoing support and deeper work. We will regularly review your progress together and adjust the frequency and length of sessions as needed.
