About me
Hello my names Fiona and I am a accredited counsellor. Well done taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life, it takes courage. Be proud you have taken this brave step, it is the start of your journey to a happier and calmer mental state. I specialise in anxiety, depression and OCD. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, motivation, self esteem, confidence, relationship issues, life changes and many more issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I like to use tools provided by the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach and the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach as I find they increase the positive results in a shorter space of time. I am here to support you in that process and look forward to finding the best way to help you.

Thank you for all your help, Fiona. Fiona Grant is an amazing therepist who has helped me a lot in identifying my strengths, internalising them and believing them through encouraging me to use daily affirmations. This has greatly boosted my confidence level and reducing on my self-hatred to some extent.
The grounding techniques, relaxation technique and worksheets to challenge my thoughts and beliefs have been helping me to start to shift my self view and world view when faced with some triggers.
I truly appreciate that she spends time and effort beyond therapy sessions to find worksheets, books and external sources of information to help me further. She has helped to find information and worksheets about trauma to attempt to help me although she was not trained in this aspect. And she demonstrated understanding and support when I needed more help from a trauma trained therapist to help me with my problems.
I thank her from the bottom of my heart for all that she has done.
Her warm and caring nature as well as her hardworking and enthusiasm in helping her clients to the best of her abilities are remarkable.
She goes above and beyond to help her clients. I am certain that she will continue to shine and be the light to her clients in any best ways possible!

Fiona has been a great help since our first session. Direct and intuitive, we've got to issues quickly and made me really think. I am really enjoying our sessions, even though sometimes it gets uncomfortable as she will challenge me - which is what I need.
