I'm Mariam, a couples and relationship counselor deeply invested in guiding individuals toward transformative growth in their connections. Drawing inspiration from Gottman's theory, my therapeutic approach is rooted in creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore and evolve.
In my counseling sessions, I bring a blend of humor and transparency-always committed to telling it like it is. In my role as a couples therapist, l operate as a translator for emotions and dynamics. Bridging the communication gap, I help clients understand each other through interpretation. My goal is to equip clients with the tools to navigate challenges; encourage them to slow down and recognize the roles they play in their relationship dynamics; and instigate lasting positive change within their relationships.
Beyond my counseling practice, l'm an avid lover of travel, fitness, and quality time with loved ones. My heart finds joy in exploring Ivory Coast, where I cherish family visits and indulge in the incredible local cuisine.
Cooking and experimenting with new recipes are some of my favorite pastimes when I'm not in the counseling room.
