Francesca Harland-Davis, BACP
About me
My experience in therapy means I have sat where you are, and now as a practitioner, I understand how daunting the process can be to ask for help. Often we seek out therapy when we feel we are on the edge, and hopefully, we can build up a relationship to help foster your growth and independence. Therapy should be non-judgmental, and as such, I pride myself on being able to support you as I would hope someone would support me while I am in need.
I hold a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am accrediated by the BACP with over 10 years experience in supporting individuals across various capacities. My expertise spans mental health, relationships, victims of crime (including domestic and sexual violence), and personal development, with a specialisation in building trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Grounded in person-centred theory, I use evidence-based practice to deliver tailored interventions to promote holistic well-being and independence.
My professional journey includes roles such as a Children's Support Worker, Therapist, and various practitioner positions focused on mental health, homelessness, and domestic violence support. These roles have equipped me with the skills to provide effective support to vulnerable populations, including unaccompanied asylum seeker children and British young people, addressing their mental health needs and promoting their independence with compassion and professionalism. I have vast experience in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and people with disabilities.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Francesca Harland-Davis. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
As well as being friendly and easy to communicate with, Francesca is an extremely thoughtful and insightful therapist. I already feel like I've made one breakthrough and we've only had 3 sessions! Highly recommend!
