Gabriela Lozano, LMFT
About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California with over 15 years of experience. I have experience working with individuals, couples, families and adolescents. I have worked with clients with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, anger management, emotional regulation, coping skills and eating disorders . I have also helped many people who have experienced emotional trauma and/or emotional abuse (which I find is the underlying cause of many unhealthy behaviors and struggles that lead us to seek help.)
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe we have our own answers to healing and growth if we are guided and are truly heard, respected and valued.
My approach combines psychodynamic, humanistic, client centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I will match to you, your emotional and intellectual needs and style that suits you best to explore and find answers to your challenges. Therapy is as unique a journey as you are and I will speak your language in that regard.
It takes such courage to take a step towards growth, healing and understanding yourself and others.
If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you and walk along side you.
