About me
I am a licensed counselor with over 25 years experience in providing therapy. My areas of knowledge include grief and trauma therapy, treatment for anxiety and depression, and issues for LGBTQ individuals. I believe in the life transforming power of mindfulness and also employ dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic process, and Rogerian theory which focuses on empathy and unconditional positive regard from the therapist to the client. My focus as a therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate space in which a person can gain self knowledge, self compassion and kindness. Each person is unique and my goal is to provide individualized treatment and support to each person I work with. I welcome the opportunity and the privilege of providing guidance and support to each person on their journey of self discovery and healing.

It's kind of early in the process but I can feel Gail training me, like any teacher would, to be educated on things I wasn't even aware of. With this knowledge I finally feel more jn control and that's something I haven't had in a while

Gail has a calm demeanor and a very non judgmental attitude towards any issue you bring to her. She has the ability to empathise and constructively lead you to an understanding of self and the stimuli. She has been very responsive and comforting in extremely emotional situations yet leading you to practical solutions and approaches on how to manage that next time. I would recommend her anytime!
