Gail Sanchez, LPC
About me
I am a licensed professional counselor based in Missouri, bringing over 10 years of experience to the field of counseling. My expertise lies in assisting clients with various challenges, including stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, motivation and self-esteem issues, as well as chronic health conditions. My mission is to provide a supportive and empathetic environment where we can collaboratively assess, diagnose, and treat your concerns, aiming to restore hope and balance in your life.
I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own story, possessing unique strengths that will empower you to overcome life's difficulties. To ensure therapy is accessible to you regardless of your lifestyle or health, I offer a range of therapeutic modalities.
My therapy style is rooted in being non-judgmental, warm, and genuine. I primarily employ the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, which focuses on helping clients recognize and alter negative thought patterns while teaching practical coping skills for real-time challenges across all aspects of life. I value listening to your needs and adapt my approach accordingly to best support you.
Taking that initial step to begin therapy demonstrates courage, and I commend you for taking it. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to work together and assist you in reaching your goals. Remember, you are not alone on this journey, and I am here to walk alongside you.

Working with Gail has been amazing. She really takes the time to listen, and has a remarkable ability to help me see things from new perspectives. Gail always shares practical, real-time solutions and coping skills that I can implement immediately, which has really made a difference in my day-to-day. I’ve made significant progress in my thinking and confidence thanks to her guidance and support, and am very grateful for the role she’s played in that. I feel like I can finally be my true authentic self.

Gail is my second counselor with BetterHelp. The 1st was kind, we just didn't connect.
Gail, on the other hand, is fabulous. She got right in and started a plan. She listens, with excellent communication skills, explains in ways I understand. We are just starting, and I believe she is going to help on my path to healing.

Gail is very receptive to my thoughts and emotions and has helped me realize my full potential as a mom and wife without me feeling like I am a total mess. She is positive and encouraging.
