Gail is an expert at what she does. Therapy is not fun for anyone, and making time for it is as fun as making time for a root canal. So I need efficiency. Gail does that, but she doesn’t rush me. I feel completely safe, heard, and supported. She also teaches me underlying concepts that allow me to comprehend my situation and also use the knowledge moving forward. Most importantly, Gail understands my personality; she understands how I am likely to perceive something, how I’d feel, how I’d react, and how to communicate with me in a way that is effective. It feels as though she’s known me for years. I can’t underscore enough how remarkable she is. It is an honor to be able to work with her.
