What can I say about Gaynor Butler, amazing. I have never done or went to therapy before, so evidently I was nervous. That first call I was panicking, because that’s what I do. But when she picked and I heard her clear and cheerful voice, I relaxed. It was an amazing experience and opportunity to have worked with Gaynor. I was lucky as she was the first therapist I matched. She has truly helped me understand how I operate, thought me that what I want is okay, and that I shouldn’t have to make myself uncomfortable to suit other people’s need. What I trying to say is that Gaynor Butler has made me lighter in the best way, I have noticed how I have changed from the first session to our last and I am truly grateful. I know that I deserve respect and that I shouldn’t feel bad to demand respect, she taught how to stand up for myself (still working on it), compared to the years of just accepting behaviour. I’m just grateful that what I can say. Thank you soo much Gaynor truly.

I wasent sure what to expect, in general, about how counseling and talking to a therapist worked, because I havent really ever sought help from one before. I 've found that Gaynor has made me feel very comfortable with choosing to seek help with my depression, and in no way have I felt as though choosing to seek help makes me weak or broken, or like there is something critically wrong with me for having to seek help. The approach that I've noticed being used with my particular issues is very encouraging and not at all demeaning or condescending. I have appreciated how quickly she has responded to questions I've had, and especially how when I was panicking or feeling like I was having an anxiety attack, my issues were addressed very quickly and the level of professionalism that I've been treated with has helped with making this platform really worth the money I'm paying for the access to it. Gaynor has been effective in very tactfully opening my eyes to some of the things I viewed as issues or negatively impacting my life and helping me see these things from a different perspective, and this has sort of fast tracked certain things I previously figured I'd need to spend more time on resolving. I also appreciate the way that dealing with the issues I've have so far with her, where I assumed prior to starting to use this service that it was going to be a stressful and tense time, she has made the time spent working through those issues very positive and uplifting. All in all, I think Gaynor is very qualified and competent, and it is clear she enjoys helping people which just adds value to the whole experience and atmosphere surrounding the trek to better mental health.

Gaynor is incredible. I’d been reluctant to try counselling for a long time and I’m so glad that I was matched with her when I finally decided to take the plunge. Gaynor’s overall approach is so friendly and kind, each session feels like you’re just having a chat, even when you’re covering some deep subjects. I’ve noticed a huge change in where I began and where I ended and I’m confident that going forward I’ll be able to take myself back to all of our conversations and apply everything we talked about. Gaynor, you’re an absolute superstar, thank you so much!
