Georgette Leventis, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Utah with over 20 years experience. The majority of my experience has been as a forensic social worker, specifically in assessment, referral, and shorter-term work with individuals involved in the criminal justice system. I also have significant experience in inpatient and outpatient crisis intervention work. In my work, I have assisted clients experiencing a variety of concerns, including: depression, anxiety, mania, psychosis, histories of trauma and violence, adjustment to serious life events, illness, and end of life issues.
I am invested in building trust with my clients and creating an open, compassionate, and safe space where you will feel heard and respected. Your input and participation are valuable and vital to our work together as we navigate the topics or concerns you would like to explore. My approach is a holistic one, and may integrate different modalities tailored to your situation. One consistent component will be an exploration of mindfulness techniques to keep us present and grounded in our work together. You are taking a brave and hopeful step by connecting to this site. I look forward to getting to know you and working together.
