Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on self-awareness of the patient's actions and behaviors. Psychodynamic therapy is like CBT in that it works to understand how beliefs, thoughts, behavior, and emotions are interconnected. However, it focuses on the unconscious beliefs and emotions that tend to trigger the negative thoughts, emotions, and behavior, rather than conscious, automatic thoughts that occur in initial reaction to situations. Grace has been very friendly, non judgemental, and caring. When I haven't accomplished our goal she meets me where I am and helps me adjust the plan in ways that works for me. Definitely one of the best therapists I've had!

I haven't had Grace for too long to give a thorough review, but so far she has been superb in checking in on my frequently, even when I do nothing to prompt her doing so. It makes me believe she genuinely thinks about her clients daily and cares about how they are doing outside of her paid time. I really appreciate her so far

Grace is very compassionate and objective. She always helps me sort through the weeds in my thinking in a clear and organized way. She also cites research behind things, which I very much appreciate.
