Graham Morris, BACP
About me
Hello there. My name is Graham, and I am a licensed therapist. I have clinical experience in a number of fields, including: relationship issues, loneliness, problems with addiction, burnout, gender identity, issues with sexuality, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I approach every therapeutic relationship with due sensitivity and respect. I have worked in a number of different settings, including: schools, universities, reach-out centres, and through my own private clients. I have really valued working with people from many nationalities and cultures.
I have also worked with people from many ages: from people of senior age wondering how to approach retirement, to students worried about bullying. Therefore, I know that we are all unique. However, I also believe that our problems, no matter our age, can be a product of our closest relationships, our environments, and our biologies.
My style and approach to therapy draws from a person-centred (PCT), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches. Indeed, I believe that our actions are just a result of our honest and best attempts at trying to improve our lives, but that sometimes this can go a little wrong. Therefore, I would like to support you, free of judgement, in your therapy journey. Furthermore, my therapy style can support you whether you want a solution-based approach, or whether you prefer a more enlightened approach that can explore the reasons behind your feelings. In any case, I will be led from what you are seeking out of therapy.
I know, from my own experience, that therapy may be a little scary. However, I will try to make your experience as easy as possible for you, and I will support you all the way on your journey.
I hope we can speak soon.
Take Care.
Graham.
