About me
I am a mental health counselor licensed in Georgia with over 8 years of experience working as a mental health counselor for incarcerated offenders. I work with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, psychological disorders. substance abuse, social skill building and medication awareness, OCD and ADHD. I also helped my clients who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is showing empathy and active listening. I believe in treating my clients with respect and compassion. I do not believe in stereotyping my clients. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, reality and rational-emotive counseling. I am experienced in processing administrative reports, treatment plans, and progress notes surrounding therapeutic care for my clients’ specific needs.
