Hello, my name is Haley Dixon (She/Her) and I'm a NCC certified LPC based in Oklahoma. I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, I am a public speaker and have given talks in multiple states on psychoeducation applied to media literacy, such as how psychology helps build better movies, video games, and more.
As a therapist, I practice client-centered techniques that focus on affirmation and attainable goals. I have experience working with clients across a diverse range of populations, including gender/sexuality, women's issues, and young adults. I am especially passionate about serving the LGBTQIA+ community, and I have worked with many transgender and non-binary individuals on issues related to gender identity, transition, and mental health.
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, and I strive to learn about my clients' interests and goals so that I can help apply solutions that lead to real-life change that can be maintained beyond therapy. I'm dedicated to listening and understanding your needs, and I'm not interested in making a bunch of mini-me therapists through our sessions. Rather, I want to empower you with the tools and knowledge to advocate for yourself and achieve your goals.
If you're looking for a therapist who is accepting, empathetic, and skilled in working with diverse populations, I would be honored to support you on your journey towards healing and growth. Don't hesitate to reach out to schedule a session or to ask any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!

Haley is absolutely wonderful. I feel heard and very much appreciate the back and forth to come to the right solution for me. Helps me take a step back and look at situations with unbiased perspective. Gives great materials to look at outside of the session to expand upon what we talk about in session. Haley has been a wonderful guide through learning about autism, ADHD, and handling situations in a healthy way.

I felt very at ease upon initial interaction. Each interaction only solidified that Haley is the right therapist for me. It’s nice to have encouragement and a therapist who can understandable the things you’re talking about on a somewhat personal level, while also giving advice, and ways to look at things from a slightly different perspective.

Haley is by far the most comfortable I’ve felt speaking with a therapist. She’s a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and has knowledge that can be applied to our experiences that may differ from cis-het standards. I’m very pleased with her responses and support and guidance!

Haley has been an incredible advisor for me in just the short time she’s been my therapist on here. She’s given me some amazing and simple advice that’s turned my life around, she makes time to check in on me while not being pushy or invasive, and most of all (for me) she can relate to me on a personal level and give me pertinent advice that has even helped her in the past. I recommend Haley to anyone and everyone. She is wonderful!!

I love Haley! She takes the time, to break down what I'm experiencing, why, and how to fix it. I've never meshed with a therapist so well, and will continue with her, until we decide otherwise.

I am confident in her expertise, and I really feel like she is listening to me and making me feel validated. Looking forward to continued sessions with Haley!

Haley Dixon is an amazing therapist taking a refreshing approach compared to other therapists I’ve seen in the past while not reinventing the wheel. To anyone like me who struggles with making a connection with a therapist and committing to therapy I highly recommend Haley, because she is probably the therapist you never thought you would find. Truly unique in her approach and finds ways to relate in session that make it less like “therapy” and more human.

I haven’t been talking with Haley for very long but it’s been insightful. I tend to ramble or get lost in the details of my side and she’s very good at reading between the lines. Talking to her it feels like she gets you, like she understands and isn’t being judgmental. This is my first experience with a therapist and I couldn’t ask for someone better.

Haley has been extremely helpful in getting me through a difficult situation with those in my life. She remains nonjudgmental when I talk to her and offers to find me resources she thinks might be helpful to supplement our sessions. She also makes sure I make a game plan for the week ahead, and then checks in at the next session and tries to work with me when my plans fall through. I cannot recommend her enough!

Haley has a gentle way of speaking and asking questions that can be hard to answer! Conversations feel easy with her and it feels like she’s keeping me accountable, instead of just calling me out on my problems. I definitely am glad I was matched with her!

Haley is lovely. She has thoughtful responses and a way of pointing out different ways of looking at things that is both engaging and respectful.

I honestly went in to therapy not expecting to actually learn anything or feel like I really got anything out of it. I know that sounds as bad as it is. But in the short time that Haley has been in my life, she has seriously changed my life for the better (and she has definitely taught me some things).
Haley is smart, compassionate, funny, empathetic and I can tell she genuinely cares for people. I am lucky to have her as my therapist.

I was very nervous starting therapy, especially online, but Haley has been an amazing therapist and I am beyond glad that I was paired with her. She is an attentive listener, she makes me feel validated and supported, and she is there for me when I need her. She feels more like a close friend and I feel that I can confide in her, which makes it really easy to open up to her. I know she won't judge me or ridicule me. She also responds back to my messages and is always on-time for our sessions. Additionally, she sends me links to articles and videos for me to better educate myself and help me through difficult times. I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking a well-trained and extremely friendly and personable therapist! She has changed my life for the better in so many ways and I am so grateful for everything she does. So thank you so very much Haley!
