Halla (Haley) Kiser, LPC
About me
I am a professional counselor licensed in Pennsylvania with 3 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and substance use disorder. I am a neurodiversity affirmative therapist who has experience with OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. Adolescents (teens to early adulthood) are my favorite age group to work with because I enjoy helping people develop their sense of self and coping/social skills needed to navigate early adulthood.
My therapy style is non-directive, helping people to reach the goals they established for themselves. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I give all of my clients unconditional positive regard. I am genuine and non-judgemental. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working alongside you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Halla (Haley) Kiser. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I think I've reviewed Halla before, but I can say that I've never been happier with a therapist. Her concerns and care feels very genuine, and she's provided me with the most valuable advice. I have free mental health counseling through my job, and refuse to take it because I love Betterhelp, and would rather pay for a good therapist than get free sub-par therapy. I also love how Halla encourages me to use the journaling built into Betterhelp!

Haley is a wonderful person to talk to. It's very easy to talk about things that others don't understand, as she is very relatable. She is calm and easy to get along with. Her approach to therapy lets me tackle the issues that are bothering me most at my own pace.

Haley is very calm and understanding. She asks questions and makes suggestions I hadn’t considered that help me understand more of what I’m feeling. After every session I feel calmer and more positive.

Haley really takes the time to get to know me and what I’m interested in and going through. It helps a lot in our sessions when there is that understanding.
