Halley Griffin, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University.
While I support clients in various areas, I am especially passionate about helping women manage family/ relationship issues, stress, anxiety and motherhood to build fulfilling lives and meaningful relationships. My approach is rooted in curiosity, openness, and practical, real-life application. I believe in empowerment—helping individuals navigate their paths with confidence and clarity through our collaborative efforts.
With over a decade of clinical experience and gaining independent licensure in 2016, I have worked in diverse settings, including: community mental health agencies, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse facilities, intensive outpatient & partial hospitalization programs, six years at Emory University Hospital working with grief and loss among other medical crises and a clinical internship with the VA’s PTSD Trauma Recovery Program.
I have completed specialized training in relationship coaching, equipping me with effective strategies to help individuals strengthen their marriages and intimate partnerships (even when they are the only ones trying)—skills that have deeply enriched my own marriage, and I love sharing them with others.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage, and I commend you for beginning this journey.
