Heather Melass, LPC
About me
Welcome!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with 3 years of professional counseling experience. I began teaching 8th grade in 1997 and it kindled a desire to guide others along difficult paths. We will employ multiple forms of therapy including Narrative, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused.
My MA in Clinical Mental Health allows me knowledge of clinical issues as well as situational issues. My experience includes helping clients with depression, parenting, motivation, self esteem, confidence, gender dysphoria, eating disorders, ADHD, Bipolar, and Schitzo-affective disorders.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. We will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
Thank you for allowing me to accompany you on your journey, and I look forward to working with you!

Heather always seems to know exactly what I'm going through. She provides the exact resources at the right time - she seems to know what I need to help me make sense of what's happening. She can sense what I'm struggling to understand even when I don't know what questions to ask. A great therapist to guide you on your path.
