Heather Taylor
About me
Welcome to BetterHelp! My name is Heather Taylor and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of North Carolina. I have 10 years of experience in the mental health field, 8 years as a Professional School Counselor and 3 years as a LCMHC. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families on issues of depression and anxiety, behavioral concerns, parenting, adjustment/transitions, as well as other mental health concerns.
During session, you can expect compassion and understanding. I strive to always be warm and personal through active listening and humor. It is my goal to provide a safe space that is gentle, collaborative, and direct in order to walk you through solutions to current or long-standing challenges. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapies. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you.
I am available for chat, email, and phone/video sessions.
